About History, Vision and Mission

ABOUT US

Art and culture have intrinsic value in human history and have helped the human race evolve as a social being with a depth of intellectual and emotional knowledge, as archaeological sites such as Mesopotamia and the Indus civilization, among others, demonstrate. Even when lands were claimed, it was culture’s art and practise that captivated visitors and travellers.

    • Because of the power of art and culture on the human race, famous kings and rulers may have used art and culture to conquer conquered populations. Today’s society is influenced by modern factors such as the global economy and international relations. Nonetheless, promoting art and culture as a diplomatic tool and a strategic national resource is critical. COVID-19, cultural phobias, gender inequality, terrorism, violence, and a variety of other factors have thrown the world into disarray. In these circumstances, art and culture can help people find spiritual peace while also educating and sensitising the world to different cultures. Unlike the modern Olympic Games, there is no successful platform for artists to showcase their talent and represent their country on a global scale.

    • The ancient Pythian Games were an attempt in 6th-century Ancient Greece to promote peace and harmony.

  • The International Pythian Council shall act as the supreme authority globally for Pythian Games, with the assistance of affiliated nations and experts in the arts and related fields, to foster new idea creation, sharing, and evaluation. This Council proposes a game and activity plan, as well as a structure for organization and membership. Funding for the games, programs, and other activities will be sought from the federal and state governments, businesses, non-profits, and other stakeholders for the benefit of the artisans and various cultures, bringing them all to a common floor worldwide.
