The International Pythian Council is committed to incorporating art into all aspects of life. The arts are holistic in nature, promoting well-being while cultivating characteristics such as tolerance and appreciation. Our next generations must be fostered in the arts and taught to value cultural preservation through access to appropriate opportunities and platforms in international and national forums.

The Modern Pythian Games serve as a symbol of unity, including an abundance of wisdom, mythology, history, heritage, cultures, subcultures, culinary practises, diverse kinds of art, and plentiful nature. They have risen to prominence as leaders in contemporary fields such as technology, space research, industry, trade, commerce, new age enterprises, and cinematography, to name a few. It has served as a junction for a diverse range of cultures, communities, ideas, and influences.

While arts, culture, and heritage are deeply ingrained in communities, the International Pythian Movement for the Pythian Games sees enormous potential in the world to connect diverse nations, including artists from diverse art forms, cultural practitioners, art enthusiasts, patrons, governments, and non-governmental organisations, to the world’s most ancient and unique common ground for artistic engagements, resulting in peace and harmony.

The International Pythian Council will organise Pythian Games, Junior Pythian Games, Para Pythian Games, and a variety of cultural and awards activities, including their variation, conferences, and communications, while providing opportunities for participation to its member countries through platforms for cultural and vernacular organisations, artists, and other partners. It will serve as a platform for those seeking to express themselves, express their ideas, communicate, and flourish, and also host Pythian Games, festivals, and events spanning the eight core art categories and various genres.

Modern Pythian Games will have an effect not just on cultural tourism, but also on community development and quality of life. Governments and local governments directly benefit from the creative industries involved with arts and cultural activities because they generate revenue, attract investors, create jobs, and enhance local economies through tourism and consumer spending.

Art and culture are very important components of diplomacy. The diplomacy has the power to pervade cultures via art and culture, increasing the likelihood of communication. The Council’s purpose is to link humanity’s 196 nations through art and culture and to foster a culture that nurtures peace and harmony among people.
